Storytelling Through Rhythm
Kathak is one of India's eight classical dance forms — the art of the storyteller, told through spins (chakkars), intricate footwork (tatkar) and expression (abhinaya). It is the heart of everything we teach.
Training follows a structured path: technique and posture first, then taal and layakari, compositions like tukdas and tihais, and finally full stage-ready pieces — along with the theory and history of the form.
Dipshi brings over twelve years of formal Kathak training under the Charukala Board — First Position with First Division every year — and is currently pursuing advanced examinations towards an M.A. and Ph.D. in Kathak.
